Will online printing companies get a share of the venture capital pie in China?

As per an industry report, private equity investments and venture capital have shot up in China in the last few months owing to positive investments in information technology companies.

The firms ended up investing $418 million in 46 businesses in the month of March as compared to an investment of $292 million in 18 businesses in the month of February. Information technology industry accounted for majority of the investment with $192 million. Of all, twenty information technology companies received 46.2% of the total investment. This report must have given hope to number of online printing companies which might be looking for venture capital to expand their businesses.

Beijing topped among all the provinces and attracted investment worth $148 million from venture capital and private equity firms. Buoyed by the success, Shanghai will be launching a pilot program in Pudong New Area enabling foreign investors to access domestic private equity funds so that it can become a global financial hub.
