Filed in archive VC and PE: education and training by Greg Cruey on December 16, 2007
Anne Arundel Community College is going to offer entrepreneurs and business people the chance to think a little harder about doing business in China, according to a story in the Baltimore Sun The school will be offering a travel-study course to "explore the feasibility of conducting business in China," the paper said.

The "Doing Business in China" course will start on May 19 and run through May 30 of 2008. Participants will visit Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

The terracotta warriors of Xian...

The course's fee ranges between $3,170 and $3,565 - depending on your particular details. That covers your airfare, hotel, some meals, and sightseeing tours.

If you want more information you can call the college at 410-777-2765, or you can email Billy Yuan of Joyce Ezrow

And if you have a trip to China planned that seeks to educate investor or business people about the opportunities there, you can email me at cruey4@adelphia.net and maybe I can mention the details of that trip here...
