Dedric Lam at the Shanghaiist had a post this morning on the rumor that African-Americans would be banned from Beijing's bar scene during the 2008 olympics coming up next month. Lam debunks the rumor and calls the credibility of the original South China Morning Post story into question. Since I helped spread the original rumor with my post yesterday, I thought I'd point the Shanghaiist blog entry out for others to see.
