China Tech Blog pointed out in a blog post earlier this month that online shopping in China is just exploding...
Clothes, cell phones and housewares led the way in consumer purchases.

According to iResearch, the total volume of consumer transactions online in China during the first half of 2008 was 53.1 billion RMB - not far off from the 56.1 billion RMB total for all of 2007.The big winner? Taobao.com has a 77% market share - or 41.3 billion yuan so far this year.
Clothes, cell phones and housewares led the way in consumer purchases.
