New World Department Store to Be Listed in Hong Kong in July

With retail sales up 15% in China over last year, New world Department Stores has decided that it is a good time for an IPO.
New World Department Store China Ltd. is affiliated with New World Development Co. (NWD). The company hopes to raise about $300 million US to help expand the department store chain. New World Department Store is already in 15 major Chinese cities.
Institutional investors will get a road show look at the offering on June 25. A final price is expected for the stock offering on July 5 and the company will be listed in Hong Kong on July 12 if all goes as planned.
The IPO is being handled by HSBC Holdings PLC and Deutsche Bank AG.
