The pressure to jump on the Beijing bandwagon has new media Internet firms trying to find a niche in the information feeding frenzy targeting global private equity investors. Phil (Ming) Lu, CEO of World Capital Market Inc., and publisher of ChinaInvestor.com, has just introduced another finance portal, MingFinance.com.

According to Lu, MingFinance.com is the one-stop shop for US investor's investment research in China. The company is based in San Marino, California.

The latest financial website is part of the portfolio of World Capital market Inc., a financial information provider and a consulting organization dedicated to making bridge between the US and China. Established in 2004 by Lu and other enterprising overseas Chinese entrepreneurs in the US, their newest portal touts an alliance with XinHua News Agency.

CVN expects to see more China financial portals surfacing later in 2006. I have also learned from Dan Schwartz, the publisher of the Hong Kong based, Asian Venture Capital Journal, that they have opened an office in Beijing to offer more in depth reporting on the rise of China's venture capital market. Read more here tomorrow on the latest VC data on China from AVCJ.
