Laptops for $199 in China
Filed in archive Internet by Greg Cruey on August 05, 2007

In a market where digital TV and the Internet are growing by leaps and bounds already, the new Levono laptop targets poor rural computer users in China. Lenovo's product is sure to increase Internet use even more in what is already the world's largest online marketplace.
The new Levono laptop will become the cheapest computer on the market in China, undercutting Dell's no-frills laptop by about $25. That's a lot in a country where the average annual income is only about $500.
