Sticky Minds is reporting that China's Internet market is on the verge of entering what Morgan Stanley calls a "best investment" period.

That information came out of the 2nd China International New Media Forum, sponsored by Shanghai Media Group earlier this month. The Shanghai Daily quoted Richard Ji, Morgan Stanley's executive director in China, as saying that "Cable TV and Internet are the coming gold mines for the Chinese market and the media carriers have to strengthen the content and expand distribution channels to improve profit."

The digital TV industry in China increased profits by 95% this past year over the previous year. Paid Internet searching increased profits by 60% and online gaming increase profits by 34% over that time frame.
