Filed in archive Conferences on July 9, 2007
If you happen to be in Beijing this week, the China Venture Capital Semi-Annual Forum is being hosted there by the Hong Kong-based Zero2IPO Group. Registration for the conference starts at 3PM at The Great Wall sheraton Hotel Beijing.
There is an invitation only cocktail reception Tuesday night. The actual conference begins Wednesday morning (July 11) and you can register then, as well, on the hotel's 2nd floor from 8AM to 9AM. The keynote speaker Wednesday morning is Gavin Ni - the Founder, CEO and President of the Zero2IPO Group.
Two morning sessions are billed on the agenda as "Review and Outlook" for VC investment in China in 2007. The first is on trends and policy; the second is subtitled "Dialogue between Venture Capital and Private Equity." Of the three sessions Wednesday afternoon, one will look at regionalism in China, one will discuss how China's Provisions for Foreign Investors to Merge Domestic Enterprises effect Venture Capital investors when a company takes the step of going public, and one will be a brainstorming session. The conference will close Thursday with some dialogue sessions.
Zero2IPO describes itself modestly as "a leading integrated service provider in the China venture capital and private equity industries."
