Focus Media remains the darling of analysts and finance bloggers in China. The high flying advertising company manages a network of flat-panel television displays in high traffic areas, such as in the lobbies of commerical office buildings and in retail chain stores in over 44 major Chinese cities-including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Safa Rashtchy, recently back from Piper Jaffray's Third Annual China Internet and Technology Conference is bullish about the momentum and growth for Focus over the next year. Additionally, blogger Phil Lin and professor at Columbia University of Graduate School in New York also echoes Rashtchy's positive views on Focus and the increasing number of VCs setting up offices in China.
