Fifth China International Exposition on Internet Culture Starts Oct. 25

The Beijing Exhibition Centre is set to be the scene of the China International Exposition on Internet Culture starting October 25, according to the Xinhua news service.

The exposition will be a four day event, ending on the 28th.

Fifth China International Exposition on Internet Culture Starts Oct. 25


This is the fifth International Exposition on Internet Culture in China. The 2007 event will showcase new lifestyles of people in the age of the Internet in China.

The exposition will have three main parts. One will look at Internet applications for 3G products. The term "3G" is often used to refer to third generation wireless digital mobile applications. A second part of the exposition will look at Internet portal websites, search engines, and communication software. And a third part will look at "new digital lifestyle area," including games, online music and video according to Xinhua.

This year's exposition will take up a third more floor space than last year's - covering 30,000 square meters in all. Companies from 20 countries will be present.
