The China Daily reported recently that venture capital investment in China more than doubled in February compared to the same time last year.
The brief report cited the financial consulting firm China Venture as its source and said that there was $141 million in VC investment in China. Over half of that money went into telecommunications, media and technology investments.
Venture capital investment last year in China was the highest ever, with $2.49 billion in VC investment in 2007.
