The people at CScout recently interviewed HiPiHi Founder Hui Xu. We last mentioned HiPiHi at the end of May when it came out that they'd gotten a hit of venture capital money to launch a virtual world similar to Second Life for the netizens of China.

HiPiHi is currently beta testing a virtual world with 10,000 users, mostly in China.

CScout visited Hui at his office in Beijing's Haidian District. The interview includes some basic background questions about Hui's company. CScout follows up with some financial question (a simple "How are you going to make money?") and some technical questions like how the new site will be policed and what obstacles have been overcome in the development of the site.
