and Leadership", on September 30 and October 1 at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Santa Clara, CA and the Stanford Cantor Museum.
"The need for global leadership skills is Acute in China. If Chinese technology companies are to successfully navigate multinational waters, they will need to attract and develop leaders that are versed in international business practices and standards. These qualities are also in demand by a large number of international companies that continue to expand into China." said the organization's President, Jack Jia.
The event features two panel discussions on the opportunities and challenges in the Web 2.0 era and investing in China. Venture Capitalist and entrepreneur, Feng Deng from Northern Light will be one of the key panelists participating in a panel addressing the fundamental question about how returnees, and non-Chinese entrepreneurs, executives and investors can
succeed in the fast moving Chinese market. Northern Light was established only one year ago and is strategically located in Zhongguancun, considered by many western observers to be a mirror of Silicon Valley.
In a comment reflected in Almeida Capital's impressive newsletter, AltAssets, Feng Deng boasts of " the exceptional opportunities which exist in China for those with the vision to leverage key growth here to scale beyond the China market."
The conference kicks off with a so called 'fireside chat' interview with John Doerr of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, who will be interviewed by Michael S. Malone, a writer, journalist and former editor of Forbes.

I can't believe it. From all those people and their traditions you can't find leadership skills ? They should learn from their neighbours the Japanese .

I personally admire the Chinese people and it’s not them to learn from Japanese ones, but vice versa. Heir economy is growing faster than any other country and I guess they need to find more about leadership, but they definitely know something.

It's not that easy to be a leader even if we talk about China. They now have to appeal foreign leader that have proper experience. How did China came o that? Let's hope is a short term situation until new fresh national can fulfill these jobs.
