Chinese IPOs - From Riches Back to Rags in New York

Last year was a record year for Chinese company on U.S. stock exchanges. A record 31 Chinese companies raised $6.8 billion from public offerings in the United States in 2007, according to PE Hub. But this year there have been exactly two public offerings from Chinese companies so far in the US. Two more are on the horizon.
So how do we go from riches back to rags so quickly? A number of factors seem to be involved - from the bears on the market to the Sarbanes-Oxley corporate governance law. You can read the details at PE Hub.
