Two different reports this month both seem to indicate that there's room for growth in China's Internet gaming market.
Pearl Research released a report in March showing that Internet gaming in China grew by 60% in 2007. The industry was valued at US$1.66 billion and, according to the report, could be worth as much as $3 billion by 2010. The 130-page report indicated that revenue per user in the gaming industry was on the rise.

Also this past month an Irish company, Research and Markets, published a shorter (24-pages) report entitle "The China Internet Gaming and Portal Market in 2008, mmorpgs and Casual Gaming Market Remains Under-Penetrated."
