China Search Engine Breaks Into NASDAQ Top 100

Rick Aristotle Munarriz has a good article online at the moment at Motley Fool about Baidu breaking into the NASDAQ top 100.

Baidu is now the first Chinese company ever to be added to the NASDAQ index. It entered the Top 100 Monday when its stock rose 3.3 percent in trading.

In China Baidu is easily the most popular search engine, out performing Google, MSN, and other home grown search engines by large margins.

Aaron Katsman points out in his blog that the entrance of Baidu into the NASDAQ Top 100 is as big a deal for China stocks in general as for Baidu in particular.
