China Investor Conferences Bridge US and China Capital Markets

There's a plethora of China investment conferences lined up for the fall. Many of them are scheduled in California because of its rich Pacific Rim history and the escalating Silicon Valley venture connection with the Middle Kingdom.
China has taken its prominent place on the world stage and the venture community is listening. Asian private equity attracted more than US$6.5 billion at the end of 2004, the highest amount since 2001, according to published reports. Moreover, according to the National Venture Capital Association, over the next 5 years 20% of the US VCs said they increasing investments in China.
Here are a few key Asian venture events taking place. dow jones Venture One Asian Ventures 2005 is scheduled for November 29 & 30. VentureOne, a leading research firm is owned by Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal. VentureOne is recognized as a leading venture capital research firm, which offers investors, service providers, and entrepreneurs the most comprehensive, accurate, and timely information on the venture capital industry.
Meanwhile,TheChinaInvestor.org, a financial information provider and a consulting organization dedicated to making a bridge between the US and China has a major China venture event scheduled on November 7 in Los Angeles, entitled, "Capitalizing on the China Opportunity."
It appears more VCs are doing just that and more.
