The company is led by dynamic Chief Executive Fredy Bush, who has directed the company to $110 million
in reported earnings last year, marking an 84 percent increase from the previous year and along the way forging relationships with numerous strategic global entities like: FTSE Group, Lehman Brothers and PR Newswire.
Over the past several months Xinhua has inked deals with the China Development Research Foundation, (CDRF), an arm of China Development Research Centre of the State Council to provide more information and education to China's widening entrepreneur ranks. Also, Ms. Bush reached an agreement with the US based economic think tank, the Milken Institute to launch eight economic indicators on China's markets.
Most recently Xinhua entered into an agreement to acquire Shenzhen Genius Information Technology Co., Ltd (''Genius''), a financial information database provider mainly serving domestic securities and investment firms.
These deals appear to strengthen Xinhua's niche position in the industry and may lead them to seek financial media link-ups to package and sell more of its developing database products. Look for news on these developments soon.
