I know this isn't really VC-related but... Talk about a faux paux (if there's any truth to it): the Huffington Post reported Saturday on a piece in Hong Kong's South China Morning Post. Seems police in Beijing may have "issued a secret ban on blacks, Mongolians and other 'social undesirables' from Beijing's bars during the Olympics."

The article said the report was somewhat believable because all the government agencies in Beijing are so nervous and paranoid leading up to the Olympics.

So much for "One World, One Dream."
