About me
Filed in archive Venture Capital on July 20, 2005

I have an extensive international writing and financial publishing background. As an itinerant journalist, I have been reporting on emerging markets, especially China and Vietnam for Asia Times Online.
As a serial media entrepreneur, I was the founding editor for New Asia Review and the editor and publisher of Venture Japan. My Wall Street experience, includes group journals publisher for Investment Dealers' digest (now a part of Dow Jones & Co.) Directors & Boards, Mergers & Acquisitions. M&A International, (London Office) and Venture Japan.
I am the author of the seminal book Venture Japan: How Growing Companies Worldwide Can Tap into the Japanese Venture Capital Markets, published by Probus in January 1992. I earned a B.A and a M.A with honors in English and American Studies from the University of Maryland and have been a past National Endowment Fellow at Yale University. I presently divide my time between the Savannah River and the Mekong.
