Hats off to the people at Burnham's Beat. Last month their blog posted a handy set of practical steps for raising venture capital funds.

The blog post is a nice guide to getting started in the search for VC funding. The post includes tips to preparing a presentation in advance of your search, clues to gaining some insight in to the venture capital firms you're considering going to, and ideas about how to find information on a particular VC firm in Google.
