Minyi Tang is the newly appointed the general manager of SVB Business Partners (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Her mandate at the new the subsidiary will be to advise startups on the selection of service providers such as lawyers and accountants and provide administrative and business services both for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists trolling China for deals. It will also hook clients up with Silicon Valley Bank's foreign exchange, treasury, finance, trade, and other financial services.
Silicon Valley Bank has been involved in Asian markets since the early 1990s, and in China specifically since 1999, building key relationships with technology companies, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and service providers to help our clients work with businesses in and sell into overseas markets.
